Fighting Back Feels Good

We have fought back and we have won the house.  The tides are turning as America discovers just what a mess we are in.  Now we must begin to undo all the wrong that has been done.  On to 2012, a new president, and the senate!

Obama is off, spending hundreds of millions of dollars on a lavish trip fit for royalty just days after voters told him quite clearly to rein in the spending.  He is acting like a kid in a candy store, sadly, we seem to be the parents, following after him and picking up the bill. 

One term is plenty for this guy.  He was voted in despite having no experience so we could have a "historic" moment.  Now he will go down in history as a collosal failure and we will be paying for his actions for years to come.  God help us.

Memorial Day

Tomorrow is Memorial Day.  Much has been made of President Obama's decision to skip the annual wreath laying at Arlington National Cemetery and to vacation instead.  The fact that Obama doesn't care about the people who have fallen for this great nation comes as no surprise to me.  What does surprise me is that the mainstream media is finally reporting on this.  Obama has constantly thumbed his nose as this country's history and Constitution, disrespecting fallen soldiers is no great leap.  Why anyone chose this man to represent us is beyond me.  We cannot let his apathy towards soldiers who have sacrificed their lives affect us.  Tomorrow, while people are enjoying their day off of work, standing around the grill, I hope that they take just a minute at three o'clock to remember.  If you have a military cemetery nearby, visit.

Obama Takes Presidential Dignity to a New Low

President Obama recently referred to members of the Tea Party Movement as "tea-baggers."  Much has been made of this term in recent months.  It is a vulgar term used to describe a sexual act, it should not be used to describe members of a political movement.  The President has shown time and time again that he is willing to stoop to lows that no President has ever stooped to before.  He is supposed to represent the United States, instead he often acts embarrassed of our great nation, puts down half of the population and generally makes an ass out of himself.  2012 cannot come soon enough.

California District 8 - Nancy Pelosi Must Go

Nancy Pelosi has been behaving as if she is untouchable.  She doesn't seem to have any fear of losing her spot as Speaker and she seems to have even less fear of losing her job.  She is smug and arrogant about her role in pushing through a extremely expensive health care plan against the will of the majority of the people.  She has encouraged Congress, in her own nasty way, to not represent the people, but rather chose for the people.  She clearly thinks she knows what we want more than we do, rather like a parent choosing for a child because a child couldn't make the right decision on their own.  That is condescending and has no place in American Politics. 

Nancy Pelosi has always been a rabid liberal but now, drunk with power, she is showing her colors.  She doesn't care what we want as a country, she wants a socialist country and she will push and shove all she needs to in order to get her way.  Pelosi's district in California, District 8, includes the city of San Francisco, which is full of extreme liberals, like herself.  She has won by a landslide in all elections in the past 20 years.  That may be changing.  A new poll taken just last month places her favorability rating among registered voters at 11%. 

John Dennis may be the person who gives 70 year old Pelosi way more time with her grandkids.  Pelosi is up for re-election this year.  John Dennis is running against her.  He's a solid Republican, and he wants the health care bill repealed.  If you are in District 8 in California it is imperative you vote this November.  If you aren't, tell your friends about John Dennis, spread the word.  There is hope.  It's time for Pelosi to retire, lets make it happen, California.

Like Sacrificial Lambs to the Altar...

It appears that House Democrats just might decide to sacrifice their careers for "the Great Leader" and Princess Pelosi.  What the hell happened to the Separation of Powers?  Just to brush up, there are supposed to be three branches of government: Executive (the President), Legislative (Congress), and Judicial (the Supreme Court).  In Obama's State of the Union address he bashed the Supreme Court (who were in attendance) due to a recent decision they had made regarding campaign financing.  Now he is bullying the Democrats in the House who don't agree with the Health Care plan. 

This is seeming more like a dictatorship than a presidency.  Mr. Obama seems determined to criticize and nationalize, treating profits as if they are a bad thing, something to be ashamed of.  If people read their history books they would see that he's no different from any two-bit dictator that has walked this earth.  The signs are all there with the indoctrination of our youth at the forefront.  The government is growing bigger and stronger by the day.  Our rights are shrinking away.  Soon we will all be lined up for rationed care if this bill passes.   The U.S. is becoming foreign to me, this is not the same country I grew up in.  I take solace in the fact that this will almost certainly lead to a shift in power, hopefully it's not too late by then.

Ramming the Health Care Bill Down Our Throats

For a brief and shining spot it looked as if health care was dead.  Now it appears that the democrats are on a renewed mission to shove health care down our throats.  That sucks.  Straight up, it sucks.  They want to cover abortion, they want to cover illegals, they want to raise the premiums of the "rich."  This Robin Hood scheme isn't working out for me.  I don't like it.  I worked damn hard to get where I am and I don't want to put my money in some socialist pot so that it can be split evenly.

I, like most people, really can't afford to have my premiums go up under this ridiculous plan.  I also can't afford to have horrible, government run health care.  I've had that before, it's called military care, and it's not good.   I miss Capitalist America.   I miss the Constitution.  Obama is determined to take away everything we hold near and dear. He is systematically destroying everything this country was founded on.  It's sad really.

Why anyone ever voted for the inexperienced narcissistic man is beyond me.  I fear the damage he is creating will be irreparable.
